Fellwarden was a concept forged by The Watcher (Fen, De Arma) back in 2014 to give voice to an epic, exultant form of black metal that nonetheless carries with it echoes of deep lamentation and remembrance.

'Legend' is an experience, transporting listeners to immense landscapes and echoing tales of honor, sacrifice, and timeless wisdom. The record is a tribute to the works of the late author David Gemmell - who himself drew inspiration from literary giants such as Tolkien and Moorcock- and therefore each note resonates with the essence of defiance, the quest for redemption and ultimately, the core tenets of epic fantasy.

With 'Legend', FELLWARDEN ventures into new territories, both musically and thematically. Inspired by Gemmell's iconic novel of the same name, the album weaves a narrative of resilience and duty in the face of overwhelming odds. Through thundering drums, profound bass lines, and haunting choirs, each track becomes a chapter in this gripping saga.
