The follow-up to the Swedish depressive black metal master's breakthrough album V-Halmstad, this 2009 follow-up (one might almost say sequel) is less well known but arguably its equal, expanding on the dynamic, progressive and melodic touches of that album. Rich and dynamic black metal with heavy doses of melancholy and use of classical instruments such as piano, violin and cello.
